HONYLITE™ Stone Honeycomb Panels are composite wall panels made up of a thin natural stone veneer reinforced with an aluminum honeycomb backing. The stone veneer can be almost any stone including granite, marble, limestone, travertine and onyx.
Combining the aerospace technology of aluminum honeycomb with the timeless beauty of natural granite, marble and limestone, it can be used for a wide variety of applications including those typically considered weight or cost-prohibitive. They have been used extensively in exterior, interior, renovation, elevator, and specialty applications.
HONYLITE™ Stone Honeycomb Panel average weight is 16 kg/sq. m, which is approximately 80% less weight than solid stone. This weight savings alone provides huge savings in installation labor, structural requirements, and installing time.
Tough, durable Stone Honeycomb Panels offer fantastic impact resistance and flexural strength. They can resist up to 60 times more impact than solid 3 cm thick granite.
HONYLITE™ Stone Honeycomb Panel withstands hurricane force winds and large missile impacts. It has excellent performance in bond strength and flexural capacity following 4 pH acid rain and UV radiation exposure.
HONYLITE™ Stone Honeycomb Panel is impervious to water penetration, even with open structured stones such as Travertine, Indiana limestone and French limestone. The fiber-reinforced epoxy skin directly behind the stone provides a waterproof barrier.

Description:
HONYLITE™ Aluminum honeycomb core is composed by multi-layer aluminum foil; honeycomb is formed after fully expanded. HONYLITE™ Aluminum honeycomb core has sharp and clear hole surface, and it is suitable for adhering to high grade plate as well as other purposes. We mainly produce micro-aperture aluminum core and normal aluminum core.

| An extensive range of cores is available for HONYLITE™ Honeycomb Panels, ALUMINIUM, STAINLESS STEEL, POLYCARBONATE, POLYPROPOLENE and ARAMID IMPREGNATED PAPER to special application CARBON IMPREGNATED types. All the cores have differing properties covering a wide range of applications for HONYLITE™ Honeycomb Panels. Facing sheet materials are selected to suit the application, some forming the sandwich to receive a further finishing coat, others form the exposed product. All these offer lightweight low strength options suitable for applications where strength and stiffness is not a high priority.

HONYLITE™ Polycarbonate honeycomb exhibits a unique cell structure. The core has 3 orientations vs. the 2 orientations common with other honeycomb, making its properties more uniform. Each cell has a tubular form and is inherently stable.

Polypropylene Honeycomb Core:
Description:
HONYLITE™ Polypropylene honeycomb exhibits a unique cell structure. The core has 3 orientations vs. the 2 orientations common with other honeycomb, making its properties more uniform. Each cell has a tubular form and is inherently stable.
HONYLITE™ Polypropylene honeycomb is supplied with or without a non-woven polyester veil for better bonding. It is also supplied with or without a film barrier under the polyester veil to limit the amount of resin consumption.

Aramid Fibre (Nomex) Honeycomb Core:
Description:
Commercial grade HONYLITE™ Aramid fibre honeycomb is manufactured from Nomex paper (or equivalent) and coated with a heat resistant phenolic resin.

HONYLITE™ Paper honeycomb core is manufactured from a kraft paper product fabricated to form a continuous series of triangular cells, similar in structure to the cross-sectional view of a corrugated box, creating a light but incredibly strong and rigid material. HONYLITE™ Paper honeycomb core is a highly versatile item. It can be used in literally hundreds of ways replacing, wood, wood-dust, particle boards, and plywood among many others.
